Angela Carolyn Pace

Angela Carolyn Lloyd Pace, 78, of Alvaton, KY passed away at Hospice of Southern Kentucky on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Angela was born in Florence, SC to the late Charles Wylie Lloyd and Mattie Mae Williams Lloyd. She was the wife of the late Gary Lawrence Pace, Sr of Olanta, SC and member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church in Florence, SC.

Angela was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Charles Franklin Lloyd, Sr. and Robert Wade Lloyd, and several aunts and uncles.

Surviving are her sons, Gary Lawrence Pace, Jr. (Natasha) of Lexington, SC, Stephen Michael Pace (Pamela) of Olanta, SC and Anthony Craig Pace (Liana) of Alvaton, KY.; 10 Grandchildren, Jessica, Kelly, Nikki, Austin, Brandon, Amanda, Michael, Juliana, Georgia, and Savannah, and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Angela worked several years in the South Carolina Head Start and Early Head Start programs, doing what she loved, helping children learn to thrive. She spent many years specializing in speech therapy before moving into an administration position.

A memorial service will be held later for the family. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Peace Free Will Baptist Church, 897 Third Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505.
