Archie Alexander Aaron, 76, of Rockfield, KY, was born in Albany, KY, to the late James Aaron, Jr. , and Hazel Cummings on May 21, 1945, and passed away at his home in Rockfield on Saturday, May 14, 2022, just a year and a half after Cynthia, his beloved wife of 47 years. Besides his beloved Cynthia and his parents, Archie was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Alford Aaron, Tonie Gene Appleby, Billy William Aaron, and Johnny Robert Aaron. Mr. Aaron is survived by one daughter and three sons, Janice Aaron, Jonathan (Christy) Aaron, J. R. (Ashley) Aaron, and Matthias Alexander Aaron; two grandchildren, Mya Marie Aaron, and Landon Alex Aaron; and a sister, Margaret Lois Aaron Brown. The Kentucky native developed a love for working on airplanes while serving in the U. S. Air Force and went on to get double degrees in Aeronautical Engineering. He used those degrees in the design and development of internal systems for aircraft. When he wasn’t working on airplanes, or farming, or cutting timber, or tending his greenhouse and nursery, Archie loved spending time fishing. Archie’s sons entrusted arrangements to Cone Funeral Home, 1510 Campbell Ln, Bowling Green, KY, and chose cremation. The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Living Word Ministries Church, 173 Living Word Dr, Burkesville, KY, 42717.
