Arthur "Sonny" Edward Karnuk Jr, 82, passed away February 3, 2026. 

Mary and Sonny married on October 27, 1990, in Richwood, New Jersey. They remained married for 35 years. Mary precedes Sonny in death, extending her hand now to welcome him home.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Karnuk and Arthur Karnuk Sr, two brothers, Robert and John Karnuk, and a daughter, Karen McDonald (Pete)

He is survived by his brother, William Karnuk (Lisa), a daughter, Kimberly Young (Ron), three step-children, John Wojculewski (Brenda), Tracy Cronk (Don), and Maurice Davis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Michael Young, Dawn Guadalupe, John McDonald, Destinee Macaluso, extended families, Stefanie, Don Michael, Shelby, and Jimmy. Along with them, 9 great-grandchildren also survive.

Sonny loved camping and fishing with his wife. He also loved hunting and gardening, and enjoyed sharing his harvest with family and friends. In later years, he enjoyed his coffee club and frequent visits to Walmart, where he made many friends. Some of Sonny's friends that he held dear to the end were Helen Hopkins, Russ, the Kramer family, Mike, and Phylis.
