Banks Winfield Henderson

Banks Winfield Henderson was born on September 14, 2026, at 2:21 p.m. at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, to his loving parents, Zachary Grant Henderson and Morgan Barnard Henderson.

Banks spent two precious days surrounded by an incredible amount of love. From the moment he entered this world, he was deeply loved by his parents and family. With features that so sweetly resembled his dad, Banks was absolutely perfect and made an everlasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.

On September 16, 2026, at 1:40 p.m., Banks passed peacefully in his mother’s arms at Norton Children’s Hospital, surrounded by his family and covered in love. Although his time on earth was far too short, the love Banks brought into this world will last a lifetime. He will forever be Zachary and Morgan’s beloved son and an irreplaceable part of their family.

Banks is lovingly remembered by his parents, Zachary and Morgan Henderson; his maternal grandparents, Scott and Shelia Barnard; his aunt, Emily Barnard; his paternal grandparents, Matt and Lea Ann Henderson; his uncle and aunt, Trevor and Rheagan Henderson, and cousin, Cora; and his uncle and aunt, Aaron and Emily Henderson, and cousins, Raylan and William; and his uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Katlynn Dorr, and cousins, Kimo and Sebastian.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 3011 Elrod Road, with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the NICU through the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation in Banks’ honor. This is where Banks and his parents received exceptional care for his congenital heart defect.
