Barbara Mills Russell, 85, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, will be lovingly remembered for her strong will, stubborn spirit, and the deep love she had for her family.
Family was one of the greatest joys in Barbara’s life. She treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family brought her happiness, and the memories they created together will be cherished for generations to come. Barbara was a woman who knew her own mind, stood firm in her ways, and had a personality all her own. Those who knew her best will remember her strength, determination, and the qualities that made her uniquely Barbara.
Barbara enjoyed watching wrestling and racing, two of her favorite pastimes. She was also a member of Cherry Chapel Church, which was a part of her life.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Joe Russell; her children, Kenny Russell and Lenny Russell; and her parents, Carl and Naomi Wilson Mills.
She leaves behind her loving son, Denny Russell, and his wife, Linda; her siblings, Linda Caudill (Bob), Kim Morris, Pat Lamastus, Roger Mills (Lisa), Kenneth Mills (Bonnie), Mike Mills, Paul, Pauline, Jessie, and Eva; her grandchildren, Ashley Costello (Chris Long), Janice Juarbe (Michael), Tyler Russell (Payton), and Joseph Russell; and her six beloved great-grandchildren, Ava, Cholie, Cassidy, Charlotte, Collins, and Lailah.
Barbara’s family will forever cherish the time they shared with her, the memories they made, and the unmistakable personality that made her who she was. Her strong will and love for her family will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Though Barbara will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind will live on through the generations of family she cherished. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
