Beverly Cummins

Beverly Cummins (Champion) Beverly Cummins, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer. Born with a love of learning and a heart for people, Beverly dedicated her life to teaching in Butler and Warren Counties, where she inspired countless students and was known for her warmth, patience, and encouragement. Her legacy lives on in the many young lives she touched throughout her career. An active member of her community, Beverly volunteered at SKYPAC, where she enjoyed welcoming guests and experiencing the performances that came through. Her kindness, selfless spirit, and joyful heart left an impression on everyone she met. Beverly’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Amanda (married to Steve Debich) and Elizabeth (married to Chris Thomas), and a proud grandmother to Caroline (12), Kristen (9), Karsyn (7), Maren (4), and Miles (2). She traveled often to spend time with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories, and also ventured across the globe, delighting in the beauty and culture of many countries. Beverly will be remembered for her love of family, her passion for teaching, and her generous heart. She will be deeply missed and forever treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to **Hospice of Southern Kentucky**, whose compassionate care brought comfort and peace in her final days.
