Robert Duell “Bobby” Guy passed away December 5, 2022, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green with his family by his side. He was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Greenville Ky. to the late Francis Marie Wilcox Guy and late Marshall Duell Guy. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Jett and infant brother, Darwin Guy. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley (Fowler) Guy, his daughter, Dawn Arnett (PJ) and son, Jeff Guy (Andrea), and his sister, Joan Harper. He is a grandfather to Nathan Arnett (Natalie), Sara Austin (Jonathan) and Gianna Guy. He is great grandfather to Greyson Austin, Anna-Grace Austin, Nora Arnett and Nash Arnett. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces and a great nephew. Robert was a proud Army veteran who served his country as a Military Policeman, serving in the USA as well as a tour in Germany. After leaving the military, he worked in finance as well as security. He loved to reminisce about his time and experiences in the service. He loved to playfully banter and will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit. Robert was a Christian and is now peacefully resting in his eternal home in the company of angels and in the presence of his savior, Jesus Christ. No services are planned at this time. Following cremation, a private gathering will be held by his family in remembrance and celebration of his life.
