Mr. Carl Craig Campbell, age 74, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY. Craig was born November 2, 1947, in Newark, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Cameron Shoemaker. Craig is survived by his loving wife, Pat Campbell of 52 beautiful years. He is also survived by his daughters; Brenda Shoemaker (Geoff) of Grove City, OH, Thyrza Skofield (Tim) of Springfield, TN, Rebekkah Herrera (Ruben) of Brookfield, WI, and Sarah Campbell (Adam Haack) of Kingston Springs, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan (Danielle), Kristen, Zachary, Abigail (Sangeun), Kayla (Shane), Elle,Anastasia, Drew, and Nicholas; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Diantha, Karen, Rain, Beverly, Shawn, Roger, and Shelley. Craig was a devoted and active member of New Life Church. He loved Jesus even when it was uncomfortable, and his faith was strong. Craig was a devoted husband to Pat; he loved and cherished her with all his heart. Craig played many musical instruments, especially brass. He loved music, drama, theater, and could sing for hours. He loved to watch movies, play spider solitaire and play jokes and pranks. He was also an avid fan of the Ohio State University Buckeyes. Craig was a high school science teacher for many years, and he directed high school plays at several schools. Craig was known for his divine generosity and giving heart, and he lived for that. He did for others and even gave those in need a place to stay. He also loved reading his Bible every morning while enjoying two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and a glass of chocolate milk. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 4:30 PM at Cone Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at 2:30 PM until time of service at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to the Agape Gospel Mission at www. agapegospelmission. org under the menu tab select donate, one time gift, and in the destination, box select Orphanage-Agape Children’s Home.
