Carnell Lightfoot

Carnell Lightfoot, 70 of Bowling Green was born May 16, 1949 in Warren Co, Ky. He was the son of the late Virgil and Esther Lightfoot of Rockfield, Ky. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Rockfield Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School and was a retired Veteran of the Marine Corps. Mr. Lightfoot was a retired employee of Kentucky State of Transportation and Medical Center of Bowing Green. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sally Holland, paternal grandmother, Bulah Lightfoot and three brothers: Paul Lightfoot, Robert Lightfoot and Donald Lightfoot. He leaves to cherish his memory, caregiver, Linda Cherry; two daughters: Ellen Lightfoot and Jeanetta Pointer of Bowling Green, Ky; two grandchildren: MeLeah Pointer and Anthony Pointer III of Bowling Green, Ky; two sisters: Clarene Rigsby of Rockfield, Ky and Donna Ross of Lexington, Ky and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A drive thru visitation for Mr. Lightfoot will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 from 10 am - 11:30 am at Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane). A private funeral with burial at Rockfield Baptist Cemetery.
