Charity Whittinghill

Charity Burke Whittinghill, 40, was born on Jan 8, 1981 in Bowling Green, KY and passed away on May 18, 2021 in Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Whittinghill. Charity is survived by her son: Shaun (McKenzie) Whittinghill; her father, Bob Whittinghill; one sister, Sandy (Dennie) Hardin; one brother, Allen (Holly) Whittinghill; three nephews: Andrew, Aaron and Evan Hardin; and two nieces: Samantha and Lila Whittinghill. Charity loved Jesus and her son, Shaun, more than anything. She also loved her family, laughing together, and singing. She loved monogrammed clothes, sparkly things, and listening to true crime podcasts. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Ln) with arrangements. The public visitation will be on Monday, May 24, 2021, from 11:30 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. in the funeral home chapel and the funeral service will follow at 1:30 p. m. The interment will take place at 3:00 p. m. in Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave). In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Cone Funeral Home.
