Charles Lannie Childress

C. Lannie Childress, age 74 of Rocky Hill, KY, passed away peacefully on August 29,2026 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, beekeeper, and friend whose greatest joy was in the people he loved, and the community he called home. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife Janice, his daughter Felicia Rucker and her husband David, his grandson Aren Childress and his wife Cierra, and his great-granddaughter Marie Childress. He is also survived by his brother Alton Childress and his wife Joyce.

Lannie will be cremated, and the arrangements will be private.
