Cheryl Mathis

Cheryl Mathis, lovingly known as "Cher," was born on May 1, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama. She passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Cher was a joyful spirit who truly enjoyed life and the company of her friends. Her love for the mountains often drew her to nature, where she found peace and happiness. Additionally, Cher was a devoted fan of the Tennessee Titans, cheering for her team with enthusiasm and pride.

She is survived by her brother, Rick Mathis, and her dear friend, Joan Schulter, who share cherished memories of her vibrant life. Cher was preceded in death by her parents, Alpha and Mavelen Mathis.

Cher will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and her zest for life. She brought joy to those around her, and she will be greatly missed.
