Denise Lamar

Denise Alene Lamar, age 72, of Woodburn, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Hopkins Center in Woodburn, KY Denise was born June 3, 1949 in West Chester, PA to the late Charles and Alene Backenstose. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers, William and David Backenstose. She is survived by her son, Robert Backenstose of Hopkinsville, KY; grandson, Matthew Webb; nieces Janet Backenstose and Tammy Deranleau; nephew, Chuck Backenstose. Denise had a heart for animals and loved them all. She enjoyed watching Ellen and General Hospital. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Denise’s wishes were to be cremated. There are no scheduled services at this time. The family requests donations be made in Denise's memory to the ASPCA.
