Bowling Green
Mr. Donald Hightower, age 73, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Friday March 8, 2024, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements.
A graveside service is scheduled to be conducted at Fairview Cemetery on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 1:00pm with full military honors.
Donald was born July 12, 1950, to the late Othar Hightower and the late Margie Estes Gibbs.
He is survived by his wife, Renate Hightower of 53 years, and their children, Donald Hightower, Jr. (Amy) of Texas and Pamela Jean of Kansas. 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survive.
Donald retired from the US Army and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic during his service. He retired as an E-8 First Sergeant. Donald loved to travel and go camping with his wife by his side.
