Donald Scarbeau, died January 10, 2021 in Bowling Green, Ky. Don was born on June 1, 1935 in North Adams, Massachusetts to Irene and Wilfred Scarbeau. He grew up and attended Drury High School after which he joined and served in the Air Force for several years. He then went on to marry Mary Jane Colo and raised a family. Don had a lifelong career as a computer programmer/analyst, retiring from Eaton Corporation in Bowling Green, Ky where he and his wife moved in 1985. After retirement in 1997 Don remained busy woodworking and going to craft shows to sell his unique creations. During his lifetime he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing sports such as golf, tennis and bowling. Mr. Scarbeau was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent De Paul. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Mary Jane Scarbeau; four children; Wade Scarbeau of Seattle, Washington. Donna (& Milton) Crawford and Lisa Johnson of BG, Ky, Keith (& Robin) Scarbeau of Boise, Idaho. His legacy includes fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Don now resides in the heavenly realms with God our creator and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be missed by his family and friends who hold to the promise that through the gift of salvation Jesus offers they will be reunited one day. No public services are scheduled at this time.
