Donnie Britt

Donnie Kaye Britt, 66 of Bowling Green passed away Monday February 24, 2020. Kaye was a daughter of the late Murrell & Ernie (Meeks) Britt of Smiths Grove. She was preceded in death by her sisters Jonell Jordan and Martha Meredith and her brother Samuel Britt. She worked for 2 years as a typist at the Bowling Green Health Department. Her survivors include her son Scott Allen Lay & grandson Stephen Lay both of Bowling Green; her sisters Faye Thompson of Smiths Grove, Betty Smith of Oakland and Mary Ann Ayers of Oakland; several nieces and nephews and great aunt to several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday February 27th at Cone Funeral Home with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-12 Thursday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Cone Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. The family expresses their thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
