Edward Terry Terwilleger was born October 16, 1935 in Wisconsin, and passed away on March 17, 2026
Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, of 7 years. They were married in Bowling Green, KY, on September 18, 2018. Along with Carol, his sister Suzanne Schell (Bill), and children, Terri Lynn Ramsey and Dustin Edward Terwilleger James, and grandchildren, Carly Rhianne Terwilleger-Ramsey, Taylor Leigh Terwilleger-Ramsey, Keegan Crocker, and Makenna Johnston, all remain.
Edward was a high school graduate who took the ultimate oath of protecting his country, in both Vietnam and Korea. He returned not seeking recognition, but carried with him a lifelong commitment to love, humility, and the enduring value of peace. Edward was awarded several medals and badges, including: National Defense Service Medal (1 OLC), Parachutist Badge, 2 O/S Bars, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 Device, Bronze Star Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal.
His service to his country was honorable. His devotion to his family was absolute. And his legacy, like the man himself, will stand steady long after his final salute.
