Elaine Hampton

Elaine Karen Hampton of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Surge Barton and Elsa Franko-Barton . She is survived by her husband, Charles Hampton, daughter; Alexandria Hampton, son; Lukas Hampton (Cheyanne), three great great nieces and nephews; Brentley, Mallory and Bryson Phelps, and two sisters; Nancy Barton and Carloyn Barton. Elaine was a Registered Nurse for Med Center Home Health and was a member of SDA Church. She loved God, her family, friends and pets. She loved her job as a nurse. She loved baking, art, gardening, and Crocheting and many other things. Elaine enjoyed playing scrabble games with her sister/ brother in laws, Libby, Carol, Lucky and Alice. Elaine had a long battle with cancer without resting, but now she is able to rest. She is sleeping until the Lord comes to take her home. Arrangements are entrusted to Cone Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen.
