Eldon Allen Jr.
November 22, 1946 ~ August 14, 2025 (Age 78)
Eldon Allen, of Bowling Green, KY, passed peacefully at 78. It meant a great deal to him to be a little stubborn - throughout his struggle of heart failure over the last few years he never lost his dignity. Born on November 22, 1946 to the late Eldon Allen Sr. and Francis Allen in Russellville, KY. Eldon lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unforgettable stories.
In addition to his late parents he is survived by his wonderful ex-wife Ms. Branda Braddock, his daughter Rhonda Trombley, his son Mark Allen, his daughter Tammy Allen, and his son Kevin Allen. The late death of two brothers James Allen, David Allen, and one sister Joyce Murkland, and one living brother Johnny Allen, all of Bowling Green. Fourteen grandchildren: Talyer Trombley, Dakota Leisure, Ariel Allen, Kayleigh Allen, Jordan Owen, Kristen Tibbs, Sydney Owen, Malia Romines, Tori Allen, Chase, Madison,Tyler Allen, Justin Allen, Ashley Allen, Dillon Allen; and seven or more great grandchildren.
Eldon was a proud man who served his life with honor and integrity – carrying that same sense of duty and strength throughout his entire life. A man of unimaginable love and strength for his family and all his friends with quiet dignity. Eldon was known for his unrelenting work ethic and his deep devotion to his loved ones. He poured his heart into everything he did – whether it was racing a stock car or casting a fishing line before the sun came up.
Eldon was a long-time employee of Lee-Al-Co Trucking out of Tennessee.
He lived for the simple joys of life – to be a friend to all he knew, swapping tall tales that always ended in laughter and carving out moments of wit and mischief with his sharp sense of humor. To know him was to be met with warmth, wisdom, and a perfectly timed sarcastic remark that left you smiling long afterward.
At one time in his life he was a legendary fisherman and we know now that he has gone to meet his Dad at their favorite fishing hole. A loving family man and a loyal friend, his presence filled a room and his stories filled people’s hearts. Eldon Allen was truly one of a kind and the echoes of his laughter, love, and legacy will live on in every story told in his memory. Eldon will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
In lieu of flowers and at the request of his family, monetary donations can be made at Cone Funeral Home by calling 270-904-4201.
May he rest in peace… prayers for all of his family.
