Ernestina Pena

Ernestina Pena, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on June 18, 2024 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born on December 6th, 1939 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Ernestina led a fulfilling life centered around her faith and family. She found joy in going to church regularly, reading her bible for solace and guidance, indulging her passion for knitting beautiful creations, and staying informed by watching the news.

She was preceded in death by parents Manuel Pena and Maria Reyna. Ernestina shared 38 years of marriage with her late husband Jose Trinidad Valero before his passing.

Ernestina will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her surviving family and friends. Among them are her siblings Benjamin, Luciana, Maria Ignacia, Anacleto, Atanasio, Inocencio, and Manuela. She is also survived by her children: Josefa Valero (Ruben Lopez), Jose A. Valero, Mario Valero (Ana De Leon), Ramiro Valero (Elizabeth Valero), Antonio Valero (Cynthia Hernandez), Oralia Valero (Eloy Zavala), Linda Nancy Valero (Saul Barrera), Benito Valero (Olga Moreno). Additionally, Ernestina leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life: Ruben, Riccardo, Brenda, Berenice, Belinda, Valeria, Thalia, Sahmanta, Mario, Ramiro Valerie, Jahaira, Jayce, Jennifer, Antonio, Ximena, Eloy, Fernando, Alejandro, Saul, Stephanie, William, Benito, Steven, Bryan, Justin and Lupita.

Ernestina Pena touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kindness and love. Her memory will be cherished forever.
