Eural David Swetmon Jr., beloved son, brother, and devoted uncle, passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on July 6, 1985, in Bowling Green, KY, David was a vibrant presence in the lives of those who knew him, characterized by his warmth and friendly spirit. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 2003 and later from Western Kentucky University in 2009, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career.

A long-time employee of Jimmy John's on Russellville Rd, David embraced his role with enthusiasm and dedication. His work family meant the world to him, as he thrived on meeting new people every day and forging connections that transcended mere acquaintance. David never met a stranger; his ability to engage and connect with others left an enduring impact on all who crossed his path.

Beyond his professional life, David had a profound love for his family, often bringing gifts to his niece and nephew, Anna and Jeremiah Williams. The joy he witnessed on their faces brought him immense happiness. His generosity and thoughtfulness extended to many, reflecting his caring nature.

David's interests were diverse and captivating. He had a passion for electronics, stargazing, and delving into conspiracy theories. An avid listener of talk radio, David was unafraid to engage in discussions about politics and was a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump. His inquisitive mind and penchant for debate made conversations with him thought-provoking and engaging.

In recent years, David found joy in caring for the family beagle, Clementine. Their bond brought him great comfort and happiness, marking a beautiful chapter in his life.

David is survived by his father, Eural David Swetmon Sr., and his mother, Lynne Swetmon. He is also survived by his sister, Michelle Williams, and his brother, Shelby Lockwood Swetmon, all from Bowling Green. Additionally, David is mourned by his uncle, Dennis Dalton, his aunt, Kay Anderson (William), many cousins, as well as Aunt Vicki and Uncle Mike. David is also survived by his niece and nephew, Anna and Jeremiah Williams. His vibrant spirit and kindness will continue to shine in the memories cherished by his loving family and friends.

Cremation was chosen and therefore, we will not hold a funeral service. His ashes will be scattered over the family farm that he cherished so much.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Hadley Community Center located at 255 Hadley School Rd, Bowling Green , KY. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
