Farris Moore, Jr.

Mr. Farris Farmer Moore, Jr. , age 76, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Farris was born November 19, 1945, in Nashville, TN to the late Farris Farmer Moore, Sr. , and the late Virginia Josephine (Glover) Moore. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Lavon Moore. Farris is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Betty Sue Moore. He is also survived by two daughters, Jeana Greer (Kenny), of Bowling Green, KY, Joann Ignacio of Bowling Green, KY; four sons, Jim Blume (Mickie) of IL, Ray Blume (Nancy) of IL, Robert Ignacio of Guam, and Jason Ignacio (Mayli) of Bowling Green, KY; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Moore was a United States Air Force Veteran and served four years as a Sargent. He was a member at Christ Fellowship in Bowling Green, KY. Farris loved baseball and enjoyed watching the Hot Rods play. Farris and Betty loved to go on small trips riding around and enjoying their days going out to eat, sightseeing the towns and loved each other’s company. There was never a boring moment around Farris because he was well known for his plethora of useless information, and he always had interesting things to talk about. He also adored his two cats, Moni and Peanut and got enjoyment out of taking them for rides on his power chair. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Family chose cremation. There are currently no services scheduled.
