Felicidad Darleen Yanneris, a beloved retired school teacher, was born on July 10, 1951, in Rota, Northern Mariana Islands. She left this world peacefully on June 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family and community.
Felicidad's career as an educator was marked by her passion for teaching and her unwavering commitment to her students' growth and development. With a college degree, she spent her life inspiring young minds, and her pride in her profession was only surpassed by her deep love for her family. Felicidad was especially proud of her children and the close-knit family she nurtured throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharleen and Mayleen Yanneris, and her son, Junior Yanneris, as well as numerous grandchildren who cherished her presence in their lives. Felicidad was known for her warm personality and her love of singing; her joyous spirit would light up any gathering. She also found solace in gardening and delight in traveling, interests that enriched her life and provided her with personal fulfillment.
Felicidad was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ignacio Kostka Yanneris, and all 12 of her siblings, who have also passed. Together, they formed a circle of love and support that will be fondly remembered.
A visitation to honor Felicidad will be held on August 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 PM at Cone Funeral Home located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
