Mrs. Fernanda Arana Garcia, age 66 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her residence. Fernanda was born October 1, 1955 in San Jose Acatempa, Jutiapa, Guatemala to the late Francisco Arana Pernillo and the late Hipolita Garcia Castillo. Fernanda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Julian Paul Socop; children, Walter Diaz (Karla), Danilo Diaz (Yesica), Dilsa Diaz, Kendal Diaz (Naomi), and Wilmer Diaz (Esmeralda), all of Bowling Green KY; grandchildren, David Diaz, Jeremy Diaz, Kevin Olmedo, Emily Olmedo, Andrew Diaz, Harley Diaz, Kendal Noelle Diaz and Giuletta Diaz. Fernanda was a homemaker. She took care of her family and loved them dearly. She enjoyed cooking for her family and others. She also loved to tend to and keep up a garden and she liked to sew. Fernanda had a small chicken farm and she loved taking care of her hens. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. The family will receive visitors and friends on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at New Calvary Assembly of God Church (Iglesia Nueva El Calvario) located at 1155 N. Lee Dr. Bowling Green, KY 42101. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM following the visitation at the church. Mrs. Arana Garcia will be laid to rest beside her nephew in Fairview Cemetery following the service. A Fernanda le sobreviven su compañero de vida de 26 años, Don Julián Paul Socop; sus hijos y nueras Walter Diaz (Karla), Danilo Diaz (Yesica), Dilsa Diaz, Kendal Diaz (Naomi) y Wilmer Diaz (Esmeralda), todos residentes de Bowling Green, KY; Sus nietos David Diaz, Jeremy Diaz, Kevin Olmedo, Emily Olmedo, Andrew Diaz, Harley Diaz, Kendal Noelle Diaz and Giuletta Diaz. La señora Fernanda se dedicaba al hogar, se encargo de su familia con mucho amor y dedicación. Disfrutaba cocinar y compartir en familia. También le encantaba la jardinería y cultivar diferente variedad de flores ornamentales, también le gustaba la costura. Fernanda tenia una pequeña granja de pollos, disfrutaba cuidarlos. La familia Diaz ha confiado todos los preparativos para el Funeral y Entierro a Cones Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane). La familia Diaz recibirá amigos y familiares e 11 de Octubre, 2021 desde las 10 de la mañana hasta la 1 de la tarde, seguido de la Visitacion a la 1 de la tarde será el Servicio Funerario en la Iglesia La Nueva el Calvario (1155 N Lee Drive, Bowling Green, KY); seguido la Señora Arana García será trasladada a su lugar de reposo final junto a su sobrino Víctor Diaz, en el Cementerio Faiview, donde será el entierro.
