Frank Nelson Hayes

Frank Nelson Hayes, born on October 5, 1936, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, left this world on June 18, 2025, at The Medical Center. He lived a life marked by hard work, dedication to family, and a deep sense of commitment to those he loved.

Throughout his years, Frank established himself as a hardworking individual, exemplifying the values of diligence and perseverance. Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Rainwater Hayes, who was his partner in life. He is also survived by his cherished son, James Hayes, and his grandsons, Robert Eugene Castor III and Andrew Castor. The legacy of love and strength he built will continue through them, as they remember him not just for his accomplishments but for the kindness and integrity he embodied.

Frank was also deeply connected to his roots, remembered fondly by his beloved parents, Herbert and Kate Hayes, as well as his siblings—sisters Louise, Lydia, Jenny, Agnes, and Libby, and his brother, Robert—who have all passed before him.
