Gilbert Richardson, affectionately known as "Sonny," passed away on April 17, 2024, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. He was born on March 11, 1940.
In his professional life, Gilbert dedicated many years to D&R Pharmaceuticals, where he excelled as a sales representative before his well-deserved retirement. His commitment and passion for his work left a lasting impact on all those he encountered.
Beyond his career, Gilbert found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep love for hunting and fishing, finding solace in nature's embrace. However, what truly lit up Gilbert's life were the cherished moments spent with his loved ones. Family gatherings held a special place in his heart, where laughter and love filled the air. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Gilbert leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be forever treasured by those who knew him. He is reunited in peace with his father, Gilbert Richardson Sr., his mother, Mary Ruth Richardson, and his brothers Darrell Richardson and Terry Richardson.
Remaining to carry forward Gilbert's memory are his beloved wife Anna Jean Stinson-Richardson; Merrell Stinson (brother-in-law); Sherry Stinson (wife of Merrell Stinson); as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by Gilbert's presence.
While we mourn the loss of Gilbert from our earthly lives, we find solace in the memories we shared with him and the light he brought into our world. May he rest in eternal peace.
