Glenda Faith Sharp

Glenda Faith Sharp, 85 passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 4, 2024, with her loving husband and children by her side.  She was born on July 1, 1938, in New Madrid, Missouri, to parents Glenn and Audrey Mays.  On July 12, 1957 she married the love of her life, Tom Sharp and they were happily married for 66 years.  Glenda spent many years as the secretary of First Christian Church in Bowling Green, KY.  After retirement, she spent many of her days camping at Bailey’s Point Campground on site B13.  She also enjoyed traveling to Weslaco, TX each year to her winter home, where she resided in a community with many of her dearest friends.  She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and loved to support them in all of their endeavors.  She was “Nonny” to many and shined her light wherever she went.  She attended Hillvue Heights Church for twenty years.  Glenda is survived by her loving husband Tom Sharp; children, Rhonda Biller (Mark), Mike Sharp (Becky); 5 grandchildren, Amanda Willis (Danny), Andrea Ingram (Curt), Adam Biller (Lindsey), Justin Sharp, and Brittney Sharp; 9 great grandchildren, Kendyl Willis, Konner Willis, Kolton Willis, Jaxon Ingram, Anniston Ingram, Audrey Ingram, Jase Keown, Jenna Keown, and Jagger Biller; Siblings Bob Mays (Ree), Jim Mays, Shirley Hedrick.  Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Audrey Mays, granddaughter Kara Elizabeth Sharp, and beloved Shitzu Bailey.  

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Visitation will be from 1:00- 3:00, with the service beginning at 3:00 at Hillvue Heights Chapel 3219 Nashville Rd. Bowling Green, KY 42101.  A private burial will take place at a later date.  All family members are invited to attend a meal in the Fellowship Hall at Hillvue following the service.
