Hallie Mae Carr, 85, a beloved figure known for her career as a travel ordained minister, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Southern Kentucky on March 13,2024. She was born in Bowling Green, KY, to the late William Lovin and Mary Magdalene Craft. Hallie was a pillar of strength and kindness, touching the lives of many with her compassionate, sweet, and caring personality.

Throughout her life, Hallie found joy in simple pleasures. Some of her fondest memories revolved around spending time with her grandchildren. She was not only a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother but also a woman of faith, boasting a green thumb and a talent for writing poetry that reflected her deep spiritual connection.

In the hearts of those who knew her best, Hallie will forever be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her loved ones and her community. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.

Hallie is survived by her loving children: William Clifford Carr, David Carr, Rhonda Jones, Donna Carr, Markeita Ackzien (James), Crystal Carr and Angela Smith; 5 Siblings: Janet Renfro (Mike), Tommy Craft, Billy Craft (Sandy), Mark Craft, Barbara Flannigan; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forward her memory with several nieces and nephews.

Hallie is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Clifford Eugene Carr, as well as her parents William Lovin and Mary Magdalene Craft. She is preceded in death by her son Dennis Steven Carr and daughter Mary Alma Geon; 7 siblings: Joce Forshee, Gayle Wilson, Sharon Keown, Dallis Craft (Wanda), Pery Craft, Dale Craft, Charles Craft (Diana).

In honoring the life of Hallie Mae Carr, let us cherish the moments shared with this remarkable soul whose light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forevermore.
 
Visitation will be from 4PM to 8PM on Wednesday March 20th, 2024, and Thursday March 21st, 2024, from 10AM to Noon.  Funeral service will be at noon.  Burial will be at Still Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to Cone Funeral Home.
