Hanson McCarty

Mr. Hanson Andrew McCarty, age 47, of Monrovia, IN, passed away in Bowling Green, KY at a family’s home while visiting on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Arrangements are under the direction of Cone Funeral Home. Hanson’s wishes were to be cremated. There are currently no services scheduled. Family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with his cremation expense. Hanson was born September 26, 1974, in Madisonville, KY to the late Jesse McCarty Sr. and the late Ellie Massey McCarty. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Georgia Massey and Hanson Joseph Massey, his paternal grandparents, Maldie Alice McCarty and Lee McCarty, and a nephew, Braxton Bennett. He is survived by his three brothers, Jesse McCarty Jr. of Monrovia, IN, Tommy McCarty (Crystal) of Morgantown, KY and Johnny McCarty (Sue) of Madisonville, KY. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Dixie, Daisy, TJ, Heather, Angel, Jesse, Martin, Jessica, Deena and Nick, and 22 great nieces and nephews. Hanson was known for his kindness and willingness to do anything for others. He loved helping his brothers, watching movies and enjoyed visiting family. Hanson lit up a room with his contagious smile and kind heart.
