January 18, 1964 – September 13, 2025
James Kevin Moore, known to most simply as Kevin, rode into his final sunset on September 13, 2025, at the age of 61. A man of deep love, grit, and quiet strength, Kevin lived a life full of passion for the open road, dedication to his family, and the simple joys of home.
Born on January 18, 1964, to William “Bill” Moore and Nancy Douglas, Kevin spent his life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and adventure. Whether it was long rides on two wheels with the wind in his face, or hours spent in the seat of a tow truck lending a hand to those in need, Kevin found purpose in movement — always going, always helping.
But for all his love of the road, Kevin’s heart belonged at home. Nothing brought him more peace than curling up on the couch surrounded by his beloved dogs and his cherished wife, Hillory Moore, the love of his life and his steadfast companion.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Bill Moore; stepfather, Bobby Douglas; stepmother, Virginia Moore; and his beautiful granddaughter, Mackenzie York. Their memories live on through the countless stories he shared and the tears he shed in their absence.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Hillory Moore; his loving mother, Nancy Douglas(Malcolm); two brothers, Jason Borden and Jerod Borden (Becky); and stepsister, Lisa Vaughn. Kevin's greatest pride was in his children: Michaela Moore York, Joshua Moore, Mick Moore, Dallas Crader(Rachael), Caleb Moore, Zach Moore (Jennifer), and Cullen Moore. He also leaves behind a legacy in his many grandchildren who lit up his world: Taylor York, Maddox York, Cance Moore, Kenzie Moore, Easton Moore, Bennett Crader, Lynnlee Crader, Brody Moore, Tate Moore, and Ainsley Moore.
Kevin will be remembered for his deep laugh, big heart, and the way he made people feel like family. He lived honestly and loved fiercely — a man who would give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return.
Though the road ahead will feel a little emptier without him, the memories, love, and lessons Kevin leaves behind will carry on through all who were lucky enough to know him.
Ride free, Kevin. Your journey continues in all of us.
