James "Jim" Savage

Mr. James “Jim” Savage, age 80, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green, KY. Jim was born October 23, 1941, in St. Paul MN to the late Arni Savage and the late Mary Ellen (Tighe) Savage. Jim was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin Ray Savage. Jim is survived by sons, Danny Savage of Bowling Green, KY, and Randy Savage of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren; Annette Savage, Marie Gonsalves, Allen Gonsalves, Anthony Gonsalves; great grandchildren, Sophia Sutherland, Raelyn Sutherland, Meela Hernandez and Carson Gonsalves; sister, Margie Costa of Fairfield, CA; brother, John Savage of Fairfield, CA; nieces, Tracy Savage and Rhonda Costa; nephews, Ricky Costa and Michael Costa. Jim loved watching horse racing and playing the lottery. He was an avid football fan for the Raiders and basketball fan for Gonzaga. Jim was a National Guard Veteran serving many places including the Watts Riots that took place in Los Angeles, CA, August of 1965. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Jim’s wishes were to be cremated. There are currently no services scheduled.
