Janis was a compassionate and dedicated caregiver who spent her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bowling Green Medical Center. She had a natural gift for caring for others, always offering comfort, kindness, and a gentle presence to those who needed it most.
Outside of her work, Janis found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments. She loved crocheting and sewing. Her kitchen was another place her love shined through, whether she was cooking a hearty meal or baking something sweet to share. Janis also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and fishing, finding peace and happiness in nature. When the music started, you could often find her line dancing, smiling and full of life.
Janis will be remembered for her warm heart, her creativity, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She did not want anybody wearing black or white at her service, but her favorite color was red!
