Jay Edward Stine

Jay Edward Stine, lovingly known as Eddie, passed away on September 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born on January 9, 1966, in Oceanside, California. Eddie was a man of creativity and joy, often found painting and crafting with Legos, activities that highlighted his artistic spirit and inventive mind.

Eddie is survived by his significant other, Rita Maxwell, with whom he shared twelve happy years. He took great pride in his role as a father to his children: Dale E. Stine, Angela Garland, and Patricia Tirado. Additionally, Eddie embraced the joy of being a stepfather to Kitsie and Dakota Maxwell, nurturing strong bonds within his family.

He was a dedicated grandfather to five grandchildren: Kaya, Shalynn, Layla, Jose, and Saylor, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Each moment spent with them was treasured, and his playful spirit will be fondly remembered by them.

Eddie's legacy extends to his brother, Ricky Stanley, he will carry forward cherished memories of his beloved family member.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Stine; mother, Patricia Stine, and his grandparents, Louis and Isaac Stanley. Eddie's absence will undoubtedly leave a significant void, but his creativity, love, and the many cherished memories shared will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
