Jeffrey Cummings

Jeffrey Lee Cummings, age 47, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his residence. Jeff was born December 24, 1973, to Carolyn Sue Lewis Cummings and the late William Leslie Cummings. Jeff is survived by his wife, Melanie Cummings; sons, Will Cummings and Jacob Cummings of Bowling Green, KY; mother, Carolyn Sue Skaggs (Lonnie) of Austin, KY; brothers, Mike Cummings (Carol) of Elkton, KY, and Brian Cummings (April) of Bowling Green, KY; three nieces, Hannah Minton (Josh), Summer Cummings and Adyson Cummings; nephew, Cooper Renick; and great-nephew, Asa Minton. Jeff was a member of Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green, KY. He retired from the U. S. Army as a Drill Sergeant and a Tanker after 22 years and was a black belt in karate. He loved UK Basketball, Dallas Cowboys Football and Corvettes. He also loved God, his family and his country. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, June 15th , 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday June 16th, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the funeral at 11:00 AM at Cone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Cone Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
