Jessica De’Ann Lamb

Most Beloved

04/05/1979 – 11/03/2025

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” – Proverbs 3.5-6

Jessica (Jessie) De’Ann Lamb was most greatly known as a mother, a Mimi, a daughter, a sister and a friend. She was laid to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior on the third of November, 2025. Her soul to be missed so dearly, and spirit to be cherished by those of many. Her life joy fell upon being a devoted mother and trusting in the light of the Lord. A path led in faith;

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22.6

Jessie was born to her loving parents, Karean Thomas and Steven Lang on the Fifth of April, 1979 and started her life in the town of Galesburg, IL. Along her journey were her sisters and brother; Shelli Routon, Amy Stratton, Andy Lang, and Beth Scott. She would grow up to graduate from Eldon Highschool in Eldon, MO. A year later, she would receive an Associate’s degree in business, in Jefferson City, MO. Her hobbies and passions included being an artist, writing poetry, knitting and sewing, reading lots of books and Scripture, and being a social, loving butterfly with her friends, most importantly; her family.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8.28

Jessie was blessed with her first gifts from God on the Fourth of May, in 1999; her first daughter, Mikayla Marie Lamb. And of course, motherhood. She went on to welcome one more daughter and two sons in the following years; Paige Olivia Neumann, Seth Steven Lamb, and Aaron David Lamb. As years of growth and love passed, Jessie added on her most proud accomplishment; watching her first born have her first born. We welcomed Jessie’s first grandson, Elijah McKay Tuttle, on the 21st of December of 2020. Her and Eli quickly established the nickname ‘Mimi’, her greatest call yet. Come June of 2026 – Jessie will be a Mimi to two, as we welcome another grandbaby into the mix of Lambs. Baby Lamb will be born to Aaron David Lamb and Gracie Lynn Faith Creselious, we are so excited to spread the love of Mimi and our Lord to this already-loved child.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” – 1 Corinthians 13.4-8

Though so many things can be said about unconditional love, the most important piece of that masterpiece is to be there to accept and feel that unconditional love. My siblings and I would say that she had found the secret to giving and receiving as much love as she could give and take, through everything. Love is a constant reminder to cherish what we have in life, but also a motivation to always do the next right thing in the time that we have, as Jessie could have only said best herself. Selfishly, we only wish that we could have held our mom closer, and for much longer at that. But we know that she is rejoicing in heaven, welcomed with open arms firstly, by her Lord and Savior, but secondly by her mother, Karean, who she cherished deeply up unto her last moments. We will aways miss you mom, and as long as our hearts beat, your legacy will live on.

Rest in Peace, Jessica De Ann Lamb.

“Do not fear, only believe.” – Mark 5.36
