Joe Roberts

Mr. Joe Roberts, age 77, of Rockfield, KY, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Joe was born December 8, 1943, in Butler County, KY, to the late Roy and Francis Roberts. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Roberts, and a grandson, Codie Roberts. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Christine Roberts; children, Randy Hurt (Rasema) of Bowling Green, KY, Renea Barber of Brownsville, KY, Jody Roberts, Kelly Roberts (Donna) of Rockfield, KY, 11 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Joe was a member of Clearfork Baptist Church. He worked in construction and drove heavy equipment. He was a simple, hardworking family man, a loving husband and loving father. Joe loved to go hunting and went fishing every chance he got. He loved his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday September 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM at Cone Funeral Home with burial to follow in Felts Cemetery in Auburn, KY.
