Joey Dewayne McGuffey, was born March 28th, 1965 in Bowling Green Ky and passed away September 10th, 2025 due to a lung and liver cancer. He was proceeded in death by his parent's: Jay Willard and Janice Loretta McGuffey

He is survived by his brother: Edward Jay McGuffey and his wife Cathy.

His sister Julia Dianne Hines and husband Wallace.

Two daughters: Tasha McGuffey, Rebecca McGuffey Coppage and her husband Logan. Several nieces and nephews. Special friend and care giver Leslie Grogan, and Joey’s 2 baby dogs, Duchess and Bambi.

Joey loved going fishing at Drakes Creek, Barren River, and some of his favorite memories were fishing with his mom at Three Springs.

He enjoyed going on adventures with his friends, yard sales, and flea markets. He loved eating at Harper’s Restaurant. He was crazy about Diet Mountain Dew. Most of all he loved his family and friends and talking about the good ole days.

Joey, we miss you, but you are now free of pain and resting in the arms of Jesus!

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Joey Dewayne McGuffey will be Saturday, October 11th at 3:00 p.m. at North Bowling Green Church of God at 5315 Louisville Road, Bowling Green Ky 42101
