Joyce Davis

Joyce M. Davis, 63, formerly of Edmonson County, was born on August 4, 1957, to the late Archie and Zelma Davis, and passed away peacefully on May 11, 2021. Joyce is survived by her son: Bryan Davis, who dearly loved her and was dearly loved by her; and one grandson: Trevor. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother: her beloved twin sister, Catherine (Edward) Wilson, her eldest sister, Linda (Larry) Moore, and her brother, Kenneth (Linda) Davis; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by five of her nine brothers and sisters: J. B. , Clifton, Charles, Bobby Joe, and Brenda George. Joyce was saved in 1972 at the Boiling Springs General Baptist Church, and was a graduate of the Edmonson County Class of 1974. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Ln) with arrangements. The public visitations will be in the funeral home chapel from 4 p. m. to 7 p. m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, and from 12 p. m. to 1 p. m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The funeral, also in the Cone Funeral Home Chapel, will follow the Thursday visitation at 1 p. m. The interment in Hawks Cemetery in Edmonson County will take place after the funeral.
