Judy Marie Riggsbee

Judy Marie Riggsbee, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on June 3, 2024, surrounded by her family at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. She was born in Butler County, Kentucky on May 13, 1954.

Judy's proudest accomplishment was her enduring marriage to Robert Riggsbee Sr., whom she wed on September 27, 1970 in Warren Co. Their love stood the test of time for 53 beautiful years.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert Riggsbee Sr., devoted children Robert Riggsbee Jr. (Diana), Margaret Raymer (Clifford), Mary Riggsbee (Gabe), as well as a host of grandchildren including Kenneth Riggsbee, Charles Byrns, Robert Byrns, Tre Pillow, Tayton Smith, Cadillac Jessup, Dee Pillow, Blayne Deweese, Zyrion Pillow, Brittany Riggsbee, Melanie Traughber, Stephanie Byrns, Destiny Groves, Faith Lehring and Alexus Jessup. Judy was also blessed with 18 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents Mary Helen Marie Marr-Colter and William Oscar Colter. She joins them in eternal peace along with her brothers Marvin Colter, James Colter, John "Johnny" Colter, and David Colter.

Judy loved going to Florida and laying out on the beach. She put love into cooking and was known for her amazing cooking. She loved music especially country music.

Judy will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family, especially her grandchildren. Her presence brought light into the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing in her life.

May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply cherished and will be forever missed.
