Karen Clayton

Karen Sue Clayton, 74 of Bowling Green died August 2, 2020 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Knecht and Phyllis Rolli Grump. Mrs. Clayton love music and dancing most of all her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years the late Roy Clayton, Sr. and a granddaughter Brooke Clayton. She is survived by her children: Kristi Assmann (Steve) of Franklin; Roy Clayton, Jr of Murfreesboro, TN; David Clayton (Tammy) of Portland, Tn and Michael Clayton (Shawn) of Bowling Green. Other survivors include grandchildren: Josh Clayton (Chelsea), DJ Garrett (Tony), Cody Clayton (Jessie), Jordan Clayton, Mackenzie Clayton; Victoria Sean (Sam) and 10 great grandchildren along with one sister, Vicky Severance (Tom) Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a walk thru visitation for Karen Clayton will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020 from 3 pm until 6 pm in the chapel of Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with services to be held at 6 pm Tuesday. Cone Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
