Kathleen Knight

Kathleen Ann Knight, 76, of Scottsville, KY, passed away May 1, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Teresa Hampton, her parents, Antionette and Sylvester Case, and brother, Garry Case. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James “Yogi” Knight, and guardian children, Gabrielle and Kadie Hampton, along with her children, Toni (Rex) Rutter, Bob (Melissa) Sanders, Robbi (Michele) Knight, Olivia Knight, 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Kathy is also survived by her brother, sister, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends who were like family to her as well. Kathy was born January 3, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Regina High School Class of 1964, but lived many years in Madisonville, Bowling Green, and Scottsville, KY. She had a generous heart of gold, never hesitating to help people whenever and however needed. She never shied away from a hard day of work, and she kept her family as a top priority. While there was always a home improvement project to do, she loved the outdoors and just spending time with family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren gave her pure joy. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a brief celebration of life at 5:00 PM . The visitation and celebration will be at Cone Funeral Home, 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Her remains will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH at a private ceremony.
