Bowling Green

Kathy Jo Duncan, (Mimi) a woman who lived her life selflessly & generously. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on June 30, 1955, in Kokomo, Indiana. She was the heart of her family and a light in the lives of those who knew her. She lived her life as a reflection of her love for Jesus, welcoming anyone who walked through her door with open arms, a comforting smile, a home cooked meal, & a listening ear.

Kathy was married the love of her life, Charles Edward Duncan on May 20, 1972, in Hartsville, Tennessee. Together, they built a life filled with joy and cherished memories. Kathy was a nurturing mother to her two daughters, Kathy Rena Duncan and Patricia Marie Duncan.

Kathy's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Elizabeth Billhartz (Jacob), Victoria Green (Hunter), Katherine Kinser, Whitney Strunk, Brooklyn Keown, Cannen Talley, Bethany Keown, Kylei Keown, and Braeden Duncan carry forward the love and values she instilled in them. Kathy was also blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Cecil Caldwell, Dennis Caldwell, Patricia Hunter, David Caldwell, Darlene Jackson, and Brenda Hullett.

Kathy was preceded in death by her siblings Nancy Brooks, Jerry Cardwell, Hazel Titus, and Billy Wade.

She found joy in the simple things, thrifting, shopping, cooking & spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her home was always filled with laughter, joy, & the sound of family.

Whether you lived in Bowling Green or states away, she was just a phone call away and always answered. She made everyone feel seen, heard, loved & special. Her love ran deeply for her husband, family, & friends. The bigger her family grew, the bigger her heart became & the more love she had to give. She viewed her friends as her own family & never made anyone feel lesser than others. She lived unconditionally, just like she loved.

"When that day comes,

 and I find myself

Standing in the Son,

I can only imagine"
