Ladonna Wingfield

LaDonna Kay Wingfield, age 73 of Warren County, passed away on March 1st, 2026 in Bowling Green, KY, where she had been cared for by her loving daughter, Rita Duff. 

She was the wife to James E. Wingfield for 33 years prior to his death. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Roger, Eddie, Bates, and Mark Byrns of Warren County, Homer Deck of Warren County, and Charles Byrns of Indianapolis, along with her sister, Loretta Beach of Smiths Grove. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons Brian James Burgett, and Joshua D. Wingfield of Warren County. 

LaDonna is survived by her sister Martha Cole (Late James Cole), her children Ricky Wingfield (Kim), Rachel Wingfield (Jeremy), Robin Raymer (Danny), Rita Duff (Tyler), and Randy Wingfield (Rita). She took part in raising 2 of her grandchildren, Shawn Wingfield of Warren County, and Brittany Goodman (Jordan) of Leitchfield. She was the proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, including the apple of her eye, Charlie Jade (Mother Brooklynn). She was the aunt to several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. 

LaDonna was the life of the party and will be remembered for her laughter and her dance moves. Life wasn't always kind to her, but it made her stronger and more loving. May she live on through her family, and may we all be blessed with the unconditional love James and LaDonna had.
