Born on January 23, 1978, in Hopkinsville, Larry lived a life filled with purpose, joy, and a commitment to his craft as a plumber and a true "jack of all trades." He earned his GED, demonstrating his dedication to personal growth and lifelong learning.
Larry was passionate about various interests, being an avid UK sports fan who often shared his enthusiasm with friends and family. His love for music was evident in his enjoyment of playing guitar and singing, creating memorable moments for those around him. Additionally, Larry found delight in the intricacies of building racecars, a hobby that combined his love for mechanics and creativity.
Larry is survived by his cherished son, Taylor Lyndon Allen, and his partner Destiny; his brother Mike McGonigal and sister-in-law Carol, along with their son Mikey; his sister Becky Pharris and her daughters Sarah, Hannah, Aubrey, and Gracie; his sister Debbie Smith; and his brother Jimmy Allen. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Maya Jade Allen and Oliver Lyndon Allen, affectionately known as Ollie. The deep bonds he shared with his family and friends will forever be treasured.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Eugene Allen, his mother, Ollie Frances Warden, and his brother, Stanley Allen. Larry's legacy is one of resilience, passion, and love, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
