Leoda Childress

Ms. Leoda Childress, age 82, of Rocky Hill, KY, passed away Friday October 29, 2021, at her residence. Leoda was one of 9 children born in Edmonson Co. , KY to the late Clell Childress and the late Myrtle Lindsey Childress. Leoda is preceded in death by 6 siblings: Edna Jordan, Virgie Brown, Lillie Hugo, Wayne Childress, Jimmy Childress, and Leonard Childress. She is survived by 2 brothers: Alton Childress (Joyce) of Bowling Green, KY, and Lannie Childress (Janice) of Rocky Hill, KY. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Leoda was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed spending time with family. She loved being outside in her garden, tending to and growing beautiful flowers. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Cremation was chosen and a private burial will be held at a later date.
