Linda Brumit

Linda Simmons Brumit, 73 of Bowling Green, KY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 17, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of William (Bill) Alton Brumit, Jr for 52 years. Linda was a current employee of Western Kentucky University where she intended to retire at the end of this month after 20 years of employment. Linda was not only a wonderful mother and grandmother, she also enjoyed old movies and researching family history. She is survived by her husband and three daughters: Abby Brumit, Jackie Brown and Jennifer McCawley all of Bowling Green, KY and two sisters: Lavon Whitaker of Bowling Green, KY and Jean Jones of Brentwood, TN. as well as 5 grandchildren: Jeremy, Brianna, Mackenzie, Allison and Zienna. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 22 at Cone Funeral Home in Bowling Green, KY. A visitation is planned from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm with the service immediately following at 1:00 pm.
