Linda McCarron

Linda Dianne McCarron, 77, was born on March 25, 1944, in Detroit, MI, to the late Fred Diem and Betty Cherkin, and passed away at home on Saturday, February 11, 2022, in Bowling Green, KY. Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Michael P. McCarron, whom she married on September 29,1963. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald McCarron; and two brothers, Jim Diem, and Thomas Diem. Mrs. McCarron is survived by four children, Robin (Jeremy) Miller, Michelle McCarron, Lori Northern, and Gerald McCarron; ten grandchildren, Brian Brown, Susan Steele, Jessica Northern, Patrick Harding, Steven Brown, Michael Northern, Heather McCarron, Becky Miller, Kayliegh Garbutt, and Matthew McCarron; and twenty-four great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Diem, and John Diem; along with a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Ln) with arrangements. There will be a public visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 p. m. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2010 Trammel Rd, Scottsville, KY.
