A cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother; Lloyd was known for his dedication to his family, his love of golf, and UK basketball. He was a WKU graduate and served in the Navy for 23 years. During his military service he received several medals, including 2 Navy achievement medals, and expert marksmanship medals for both pistol, and rifle. His presence enriched the lives of everyone he met, and his memory will continue through his wife, Barbara, his son Lloyd Jr., and his 5 grandchildren; Elizabeth, Stephanie, Mathew, Nichole, and William. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, 1/16/2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cone Funeral Home, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember Lloyd.
