Margaret "Peg" Coatney

Margaret Coatney passed away on March 29, 2024, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, in Kentucky. Peg was born July 1, 1948, in LaFayette,

Indiana, where her father was studying Pharmacy. Her parents were Earl

Donald Coatney and Barbara (Bruntlett). Peg grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, and graduated from Elkhart (now Central) High School in 1966. Peg also lived in Nevada, Missouri; San Francisco, California; Cicero, Illinois; and Indianapolis Indiana. Her family settled then in South Central Kentucky.

Peg has always been active in the Episcopal Church. Vocal music always gave meaning to her life and joy to those around her. She worked a variety of jobs including banking and U. S. Census. She loved to travel, and - visited covered bridges, natural wonders, and ancestral homes.

Peg is survived by daughters Rosezanna and Edith, former husband Dennis Dipert, sister Marcheta, grandchild Kaden, nephew Michael, and many cousins she connected with by genealogy research.
