Mary Kaye "KayeKee" Buser, 78 of Bowing Green, KY, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, entered eternal life on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family, friends, and caregivers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Dillon and Mary Dillon.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM CST at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4754 Smallhouse Rd, Bowling Green, KY, 42104. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM CST on Monday, April 20, 2026, and from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM CST on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where she has been a member since 1971.

Kaye was born in Louisville, KY on December 11, 1947. Kaye was raised in Louisville where she was fortified with 12 years of Catholic Education, graduating from Assumption High School in 1965.

"KayeKee: is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Pete Buser; her sons Michael Paul Buser (Amy), John Peter Buser (Ellen Wilson), Brian Chistopher Buser (Emily); and her daughter, Melissa Kaye Buser Maners. Kaykee akso leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jay Buser (Kate), Emily Buser, Will Buser, Kayelee Maners, Dillon Maners, Avery Buser, Reid Buser, Macie Maners, Abby Buser, and Peter Buser, all of Bowling Green, KY.

She is also survived by her brothers, David Dillon (Bonnie) of Lexington, KY, and Mark Dillon (Susan) of Cincinatti, OH; her brother-in-law, Paul Buser (Nancy) of Louisville, KY; and her sister-in-law, Maggie Kelly (Bob) of Rincon, GA, and Martha Buser (Nancy) of Missoula, MT.

Kaye attended Western Kentucky State Teachers College where she met the love of her life, Pete Buser. She had many jobs, including establishing Profssional Tax Service with her husband in 1985. Together they were able to raise their 4 children and 10 grandchildren in Bowling Green, KY. Kaye was a hard worker and a good person but more than that, she was a great wife, a great grandmother, a great daughter, a great sister, a great sister-in-law, a great friend, a great neighbor, and a great tax accountant. Kaye was a joy-filled woman of faith. Her dedication and devotion shined through in all who knew her and in everything she did. 

Kaye spent many, many thousands of hours watching and travelling across states to support her children and grandchildren participating in youth, middle, highschool, and college sporting events. Kaye had a very close and special relationship with the St. Cecilia Order of Dominican Sisters in Nashville, TN ad together they brought much love and joy to the Postulants of that Blessed order. Kaye and Pete founded the non-profit charitable organiation, Random Acts of Kindness in Bowling Green, KY and ask that you try to help be a rainbow in someone else's cloud.
